Nsoatreman FC coach Yaw Preko is set to quit the struggling Ghana Premier League side

Nsoatreman FC coach Yaw Preko is set to quit the struggling Ghana Premier League side after just six months amid a major managerial paralysis that has unmasked the side’s downward spiral, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The former Ghana international is unhappy at the club amid a managerial crisis and a torrid 2024-25 Premier League campaign.

The side’s 1-1 stalemate against Medeama in an outstanding Premier League match at home on Wednesday has further heightened tension among the club’s top hierarchy and their supporters.

Nsoatreman’s woes were compounded after their highly respected General Manager Eric Alagidede resigned from his role in December 2024.

Alagidede’s unceremonious exit has sparked a wave of confusion and disquiet within the playing body in particular, and supporters in general.

Currently, Nsoatreman FC is 15th in the Ghana Premier League standings after 16 games into the ongoing league campaign.

The team has only amassed 15 points this campaign and could soon be involved in a battle to avoid relegation.

This weekend, Nsoatreman FC will take on Young Apostles in Round 32 of the MTN FA Cup.

It is unclear whether coach Yaw Preko will still be in charge when the game is played on Sunday.

Meanwhile, information from other quarters indicates that the top hierarchy of Nsoatreman FC is open to parting ways with the gaffer.
