President Donald Trump says he will not allow the FBI to work with Minnesota government officials because he believes they are ‘crooked.’
Speaking at a meeting with oil executives in the East Room, the president was asked by reporters whether he would work with state officials on the investigation of Renee Good, who was killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Wednesday.
‘Well, normally I would, but they’re crooked officials,’ the president responded.
‘I mean, Minneapolis and Minnesota, what a beautiful place, but it’s being destroyed. It’s got an incompetent governor, fool, he’s a stupid person,’ Trump said of Gov. Tim Walz.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has demanded that federal officials turn over information on Good’s shooting to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

The president also noted allegations of fraud that have been uncovered in Minneapolis and specifically honed in on the city’s large Somali population.
‘It looks like the number could be $19 billion stolen from a lot of people, but largely people from Somalia. They buy their vote. They vote in a group.’
