Last night a huge fire broke out at the Kantamanto market and consumed goods worth millions of money. Business people who depend on the market for their livelihood were left with nothing as the fire burnt to ashes everything they had in stock.

The fire has elicited mixed reactions from people who have wondered what caused the fire. What is shocking however is that there were several fires that started from different points making people believe that they were started to fulfill a given motive.

Some traders have now accused the NDC of starting the fire. According to some of them who were interviewed at the market, they said that NDC started the fire to drive them away and create space for their own people. They said that since they have power now they can what they want.

Earlier on some traders also claimed that the fire service people instead of putting out the fire added petrol making it worse.
