    CEO of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Limited, Professor Kobby Mensah, has expressed that Ghana needs to ensure sustainable tourism.

    He emphasised, in other to do that, the ministry has planned to put in place an initiative called the ‘Ghana Tourism Market Place’ that intends to capture details such as contact and emails of tourists.

    “With the Ghana Tourism Market Place, we should be able to capture contact informations and emails of people who come in to our system,” he said.

    Prof Kobby Mensah shares how his father taught him financial discipline

    He explained that this will be a platform of encouraging tourists to revisit with just a single email.

    “With one big shot of email these people can recieve information that a crocodile they visited has given birth so they should come,” he explained.

    Kobby Mensah further detailed that the initiative will also have on board every conceivable vendor in the sector to make it easier for them to reach tourists .

    He made these statements while speaking at the annual conference of Amedeus, a multinational technology company that provides software for the global travel and tourism industry.
