A fleet of eight (8) brand new Mitsubishi vehicles, three (3) Toyota Coaster buses, two (2) industrial forklifts, amongst other essential operational vehicles, has been procured and handed over to staff by the management of Tema Oil Refinery.

The fleet, according to the management, was acquired to support day-to-day activities and boost the operational efficiency of the refinery.

The Board Chairman, Nayon Bilijo, who officially commissioned the fleet, permitted its immediate deployment to the necessary staff for official and operational use.

He announced that the fleet was acquired using the Internally Generated Funds (IGF) of the company in 2025 by the new management.

This intervention marks twelve years since the last time the refinery benefited from substantial logistical improvements in 2013.

The absence of adequate operational logistics adversely affected productivity and slowed the overall progress of the refinery.

The Management also used this opportunity to express its gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama, and the Minister of Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, for their support and commitment to the refinery from inception to date.

The management also expressed appreciation to the workforce of the refinery for their dedication and support for the refinery.
