This turned the solemn occasion into one of the most talked-about gatherings of 2025.

The funeral began with a memorial night on Friday, May 30, at the Anointed Palace Mission House in IPT Asuoyeboah, Kumasi.

Ahead of the funeral, Reverend Obofour reportedly constructed a giant mansion in Kumasi within just seven weeks where she was eventually buried.

Among the top class personalities that were in attendance included Ghana’s current Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Ashanti Regional Minister Frank Amoakohene, who together led the pack of top and influential political dignitaries from the NDC to the funeral.

Business moguls such as Dr. Kwaku Oteng, Osei Kwame Despite, and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong were also present.

From the religious front, several well-known clergymen were in attendance, including Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, Prophet Salifu Amoako, Bishop Daniel Obinim, and Ajagurajah (Prophet Kwabena Boakye Asiamah), Prophet Ogyaba and many others.
