The 18-year-old, picked in the second round of the July MLB Draft, was involved in the accident near his home on Friday and was hospitalized on Saturday night.
‘Frank is currently being cared for at a hospital in New Jersey with the support of his family,’ the Brewers said in a statement.
‘The Brewers’ thoughts and prayers are with Frank and his family during his difficult time.’

No further details were available from the team on how the crash happened or the injuries that Cairone has sustained
Cairone is a highly-rated, 6-foot-2 left-handed pitcher whose fastball hits 95mph. He was ranked 26th on the list of the Brewers’ prospects.
He was watched by many MLB scouts in his 2025 season opener for Delsea high school back in April and prior to that, as per Courier Post, MLB teams has even met with his Cairone’s family.
Speaking of the high-profile interest, Cairone said at the time: ‘Obviously I notice it, but it doesn’t change anything.
‘It’s just other people watching, it’s like my parents’ friends. It’s cool to see.’
