Mali head coach, Tom Saintfiet has opened the door to coaching the Black Stars after the expiration of his contract with the Eagles.
Speaking in an interview on Adom TV’s Fire for Fire show on Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Belgian tactician admitted that he would be interested in the Ghana role in the future.
“[Ghana coach] Otto Addo has a contract till 2027. My contract ends in August 2026. As soon as I’m free and my contract with Mali has expired, I’ll be interested. For now, I’m focused on Mali,” Saintfiet revealed.
On the eve of the crucial Ghana-Mali clash in Accra, Saintfiet disclosed during his pre-match conference that he was among the candidates shortlisted for the Black Stars job in 2024.
