Ghanaian media personality Cynthia Tima Yeboah popularly called Tima Kumkum has reacted to growing concerns about her noticeably slimmer appearance.
In recent weeks, several social media users have been asking questions about her sudden transformation, with many expressing surprise at how much weight she appears to have lost.
Her new look has seen some netizens curious about what could have contributed to the change in her appearance.

In reaction to these talks, Tima finally offered an explanation during an interview on Adom TV.
The media personality recounted that although her body initially returned to its normal shape after giving birth two years ago, she later gained so much weight that she began experiencing worrying health complications.
According to her, she frequently became exhausted after taking short walks and struggled to catch her breath whenever she climbed the stairs at her workplace. These experiences eventually forced her to visit the hospital for medical attention.
Tima disclosed that she weighed 120kg at the time and was subsequently informed by her doctor that her body mass index (BMI) was dangerously high for her age.
“I weighed 120kg at the time. I am a short person, so the weight I was carrying was too much. The doctor told me there was something wrong with my BMI. He said my BMI looked like that of a 60-year-old, even though I was about 37 then. My cholesterol had also shot up, and he diagnosed me with about 10 illnesses,” she revealed.
She further explained that her doctor advised her to reduce her weight to approximately 75kg, warning her that her condition should not be dismissed as a normal consequence of childbirth.
“He told me by hook or by crook I needed to lose weight because that was why I was getting dizzy randomly,” she added.
She stresses that these revelations forced her to make significant changes to her lifestyle, especially her eating habits, explaining that diet played the biggest role in helping her shed the excess weight.
Today, Tima says she has successfully reduced her weight from 120kg to 75kg, with her BMI returning to normal and her cholesterol level showing significant improvement.
“Right now I have reached 75kg. My BMI is back to normal, my cholesterol is almost gone, all because I am eating well. I currently eat once a day,” she stated.
