The family of the late Ghanaian TikToker, Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, has announced the date and venue for his final funeral rites.

In a live TikTok session shared on social media on September 7, 2025, Oheneba Jude, a close associate of the late content creator, disclosed to Nana Ama McBrown that the funeral will take place on October 4, 2025.

According to him, the ceremony will be held at the Atwima Koforidua School Park in the Ashanti Region.

“God willing, on October 4, 2025, he will be laid in state. The funeral ceremony will take place at Atwima Koforidua School Park around 5 a.m. By 10 a.m., the family will take his body to the cemetery for burial,” he stated.

    Background

Osanju passed away on September 1, 2025, after a long battle with leukemia, which he openly shared with his followers on social media.

News of his death came as a shock to many in the Ghanaian TikTok community, especially since he had been active online just a day earlier, on August 31, watching the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano football match.

The young content creator had spoken candidly about his illness and even hinted that his life might be cut short.

His story resonated with many and caught public attention, prompting Nana Ama McBrown to feature him on her Onua Showtime program earlier this year.
