Today, we journey back two decades to celebrate one of Ghana’s fine highlife musicians and performers, Okuraseni Samuel.
Born Samuel Obeng Wiafe, he adopted the stage name Okuraseni Samuel and rose to prominence after contesting in the maiden season of TV3’s Mentor reality show in 2006.

Seizing that opportunity, he went on to release several projects, including his iconic hit “Homework.”
Okuraseni Samuel is admired for his unique storytelling style through music.
Over the years, he has graced numerous events, including charity concerts in the United States, where he performed alongside artists such as Yaw Labito.
