Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has expressed his readiness to reunite with Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale in the studio to work on their long-awaited joint album, revealing that their busy schedules remain the biggest obstacle to making the project a reality.
The Nigerian musician has indicated that he is willing to put in the necessary work to bring the collaboration to life but believes the two artistes must dedicate enough time to working together.
According to Mr Eazi, their demanding professional commitments have made it difficult for them to spend sufficient time in the same place to develop the project.

He explained that the longest period they had probably spent together in one place was approximately four hours, a situation he believes would make it difficult to create an entire album.
The singer suggested that they might need to spend about two weeks together to give the proposed project the attention it deserves.
“Me and him are so, so busy that I don’t even know when we’ll be able to sit in the same place. The longest we’ve sat in the same place is probably maybe four hours, so we have to sit in the same place for like two weeks,” Mr Eazi stated.
Mr Eazi’s comments suggest that the proposed album is not necessarily being held back by a lack of interest in working together, but rather by the difficulty of coordinating their schedules.
For a project involving two established musicians with different professional commitments, finding an uninterrupted period to write, record and develop songs could prove challenging.
Mr Eazi believes spending approximately two weeks together would give them the opportunity to concentrate on the music and work towards producing a project that meets their expectations.
His remarks have also renewed attention on the possibility of another major collaboration between the Nigerian singer and Shatta Wale, who has built a strong following in Ghana and beyond.
Although the two musicians have expressed interest in working together, the latest comments do not establish a confirmed recording date or album release schedule.
