A Ghanaian fetish priestess has run to a radio station in search of a man she claims has stolen sacred and personal items from her after a fufu date.

Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Kasapa FM, the priestess, Nana Otafrigya, recounted how she met one ‘Dela Agyemang’ at a funeral in Kumasi.

“I had gone to a funeral in Kumasi along with my elder chief priest and our chief.

“During the ceremony, I noticed this man taking photos of guests, occasionally stealing glances at me. After the ceremony, he approached me and told me I was beautiful. I cheekily replied that ‘Of course I am.’ We spoke for a while, and then he invited me out for lunch,” she narrated.

The two reportedly enjoyed a hearty bowl of fufu before heading to a guesthouse for some “extracurricular activities.”

“So we went to a nearby guesthouse. I even had to pay for the room with my own money because he told me he was low on cash and his mobile money wasn’t working properly.

“We booked the room and we had intense sex. He used me like a toy. Before he left, he then asked me to support him with transportation home on the promise that he would refund everything immediately he got home,” she recounted.

It was only after her lover left that she realized he had taken her bag, which contained several important items.

“My bag is full of items belonging to some of my clients: passports, land documents, iPhones, money, and pictures of my clients, their spouses, and their bosses. All gone. I called him multiple times, but he never picked up. He even blocked me.

“Now my elders are furious. He has three days to return them, or he will face the wrath of the gods,” she declared, visibly enraged.

The priestess further revealed she has been roaming the streets of Lapaz, where the man claimed to live, but to no avail.

“I have searched every corner near the Community Hospital. No one knows him or where exactly he lives,” she lamented.

She then issued a final warning to the alleged thief.

“Dela Agyemang, if you know what is good for you. Return the documents and items you stole from me.

“I give you three days to return my items to me. Otherwise, you will regret it! This is your last warning!” he cautioned.

As of now, Ghanaians on social media are split; some have sympathized with the priestess, while others have jokingly advised Dela to relocate “before the ancestors locate him.”
