Ghana international Brandon Thomas-Asante continued his fine scoring form on Sunday, netting in Coventry City’s 3-1 victory over Wrexham A.F.C. in their Matchday 45 clash at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Thomas-Asante, who was named in the starting lineup, opened the scoring in the 19th minute after a lively start from the hosts. A well-weighted cross from Ephron Mason-Clark found the striker at the far post, and he made no mistake, timing his run to perfection before calmly slotting home.

Wrexham responded swiftly, with Oliver Rathbone restoring parity six minutes later to ensure the sides went into halftime level.

Coventry, however, returned from the break with renewed purpose and greater attacking intent. Their persistence paid off in the closing stages, as Victor Torp and Mason-Clark both found the net within the final ten minutes to seal a convincing win.

Thomas-Asante’s latest goal further underlines his importance to Coventry’s campaign and strengthens his case for a place in Ghana’s squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, having played a key role in the club’s push for Premier League promotion.
