Emerging Ghanaian musician Xheila Acheampong has addressed ongoing comparisons between her and her sister, Gyakie.

Speaking in an interview on HitzFM on October 10, 2025,, Xheila, who is fed up with hearing such assertions said, “There’s no comparison between me and my sister, we are sisters. Aside from everything, we are blood so we can’t be competing because of music.”

Xheila, also a daughter of legendary Ghanaian musician Nana Acheampong, added that she prefers not to engage in such discussions because people often twist her words or misinterpret her intentions.

“I don’t like talking about it because the more you talk about it the more people take what you said in a wrong way. Sometimes they even read your body language wrongly” she emphasized.

She further mentioned that she is proud of her sister’s achievements and sees her success as part of their shared dreams.

“She started the music first so someway somehow, she’s ahead of me. Wherever she is today, that’s where we prayed for her to be. I’m super proud of her so no pressure, we are not comparing so those who are, that’s their business” she maintained.
