Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has shared his thoughts on the economic challenges facing the country.

In a recent social media post, he emphasised that while there is significant wealth in Ghana, many people are suffering because they are not in contact with those who hold it.

The ‘We Dey Manage’ hitmaker pointed out the growing number of campaign billboards, advertisements, and vehicles being used by politicians ahead of the 2024 general elections.

He argued that this visibility reflects the presence of money in the economy.

“You might think there’s no money in the system, but just look at the multitude of campaign billboards, adverts, and the luxury vehicles on display,” he stated. “Then you’ll realize it’s you who’s not close to where the money is.”

M.anifest’s remarks on X have sparked various reactions online, with some users praising his comments, while others echoed his observations about the economic landscape in the country.

    Read the post below:

You figure sey money no shɛda dey the system inside. Then you start dey observe the plenty campaign billboards, adverts, floats, pick ups, 4×4’s and tings wey dey around in abundance. Then you realize e be you no shɛda dey where the money dey.
