QNET, a global leader in the direct selling industry, officially opened its flagship annual gathering, V-Convention 2026 (V-CON), at the Setia SPICE Arena in Penang, Malaysia. Celebrating its 28th anniversary, the event brings together thousands of distributors, industry experts, and government officials from around the world under the theme, “Reform, Transform, Perform.”

The multi-day convention offers intensive training, product innovation, and personal development. The opening ceremony featured high-energy performances and powerful keynote addresses, highlighting QNET’s commitment to fostering resilience and self-belief within its global community.
Inspiring a Culture of Self-Belief
In a keynote address centered on the power of individual potential, QNET Founder Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran challenged participants to overcome self-doubt and embrace their ability to succeed. Using the metaphor of flight, he urged attendees to move past fear and perceived limitations.

“All you need to do is to have that intrinsic belief to know you can fly, you must fly, and you will fly,” Eswaran stated. “I am intrinsic proof that if you believe in yourself, anything and everything is possible. This time has come, that you have to step off the edge and you have to simply learn to fly.”
QNET Co-Founder Joseph “Japadas” Bismark reinforced this message of personal development, emphasizing the importance of mentorship and individual accountability. “I cannot do the work for you. Your upline can provide direction, but they cannot replace your effort,” Bismark noted, reflecting on his own journey from humble beginnings.
Recognised by Government
The event was officially declared open by Dr. YB Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu, Penang State Executive Council member for Housing and Environment. Drawing on his extensive 40-year corporate and government career, Somu encouraged attendees to take full ownership of their personal and professional growth.
“Your future is in your own hands,” Somu remarked. “If you want to know who you can depend on for your own success, just stand in front of a mirror and you see the person inside the mirror.”
As the company looks toward the future, QNET CEO Mattias Mildenborn highlighted the critical role of technology in the direct selling landscape. “Technological change is one of the main challenges for the future of our sector,” Mildenborn stated. “Our focus is to improve our platforms, make services faster, and provide tools tailored to the evolving needs of our users.”
A Legacy of Empowerment
QNET Group Managing Director and V Partner, Kuna Senathirajah, emphasized that the convention is a pivotal moment for attendees to acquire wisdom and experience. He reminded participants that the path to success often requires persistence in the face of doubt and criticism.
“Life is about making the right decision at the right time,” Senathirajah said. “When many people don’t believe, it’s the believers who will win.”
V-Convention 2026 will continue with a series of panel discussions, product launches, networking sessions, and motivational workshops designed to equip the QNET community with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing global market.
