The outgoing Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only party that can drive Ghana’s success.

Speaking at the party’s final rally at the University of Ghana in Accra on December 5, 2024, Agyapong urged supporters to put aside their differences and vote for the NPP and its presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

“I urge all of you to let go of any anger and join the queue on Saturday to vote. After voting, please call your siblings to come and vote as well. For Ghana to succeed, the only political party that can make it happen is the NPP,” he said.

He emphasised the importance of protecting the Free SHS and National Health Insurance policies, which he believes are crucial for Ghana’s progress.

“I am begging you, on Saturday, go and vote for the NPP and Dr. Bawumia to protect the Free SHS and National Health Insurance policies,” he emphasised.

Kennedy Agyapong‘s endorsement comes as the country prepares for elections on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Both the NDC and the NPP concluded their months of campaigning for the 2024 elections with grand rallies in Accra.

While the NPP held its rally at the University of Ghane, the NDC was at Madina, only separated by about 5 kilometers apart.

Ghanaian voters will go to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024, to vote for a new president, as well as 276 Members of Parliament across the country.
