This was Rockstone’s reaction the moment he saw his first girlfriend
Viewers of The Delay Show were treated to an unexpected moment when Ghanaian Hiplife music legend Reggie Rockstone came face-to-face with his first girlfriend during the taping of the interview.
While sharing stories about his upbringing and the women who shaped his life, Reggie was suddenly interrupted by voices off-camera. The brief pause caught the host, Delay, and Reggie Rockstone by surprise.
Turning to see who had walked in, Reggie was visibly shocked as he exclaimed, “Jesus! Is this Becky?
“She’s one of my first girlfriends,” he exclaimed, smiling.
Viewers then watched as Reggie stood up, walked toward the woman, and embraced her warmly.
“Come here. I know you’re filming this. She’s one of my first girlfriends,” he repeated as the crew looked on.

The veteran musician then gently kissed the back of her hand.
“Becky is the first woman I ever kissed. We both went to the same school. We carried on being friends. I had a crush on another woman, Lina,” he said fondly.
The unexpected reunion added a twist to an already revealing interview, where Reggie had been discussing his childhood, his parents’ separation, and the three women, including former Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo, who helped raise him.
‘The Keep Your Eyes on the Road’ hitmaker, known affectionately as the Grandpapa of Hiplife, appeared genuinely moved by Becky’s appearance, describing her with the same charm and warmth that have made him one of Ghana’s most beloved cultural icons.
