The American-based Ghanaian political analyst Kevin Ekow Taylor has dragged Sarkodie and his followers.

Taylor is shown disparaging Sarkodie and Stonebwoy fans in a widely shared video, arguing that their numbers pale in comparison to those of Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie supporters, according to Taylor, are primarily ravenous youths who constantly approach their king in the hopes of receiving freebies.

Sarkodie himself was trolled by the outspoken analyst, who made fun of him for not changing his technique over the years and for continuing to rap in the same way.
