A cake vendor has taken to social media to share the substandard cake that was delivered by an unknown baker for her friend’s wedding.

In the viral post, the vendor, @chimeremmalucy , narrated how a close friend contacted her on Friday, explaining that the wedding cake he had ordered was melting, asking if she could help amend it.

The vendor was shocked when she saw her friend’s wedding cake; it looked unappetizing. However, what surprised her the most was when she opened the cake.

    She wrote,

“The wedding is just less 15hrs, okay let me see what I can do, I opened the cake and fainted 😭😩
To make it worse I looked at what he ordered, the cake was too strong that I couldn’t even trim it, this baker did a very bad job.”

She added that the baker had done a “very bad job,” delivering a cake that was both rock-hard and melting — an unusual and unacceptable combination.

Realizing there was nothing that could be done to fix it, she contacted her friend to explain the situation and ultimately decided the only solution was to bake a fresh cake for the wedding, which she did.

She revealed the cake sample versus what her friend received, showing that it was a case of “what I ordered versus what I received.”
