Leave it to Cardi B to turn a slip into a showstopper moment.

The rapper had a brief fall during her Las Vegas concert, but instead of missing a beat, she laughed it off, kept dancing, and gave fans another viral moment to talk about.

The incident took place on February 13 at the T-Mobile Arena during a stop on her Little Miss Drama Tour.

The 33-year-old artiste was performing “Thotiana” when she appeared to lose her balance mid-routine.

Wearing a lacy red outfit, Cardi was straddling a chair as part of the choreography and leaned back while engaging with the crowd. Moments later, she slipped and fell onto the stage.

Audience members quickly recorded the moment, and clips began circulating widely on social media. However, the fall did not interrupt the performance for long.

Cardi continued dancing from the floor alongside her backup dancers before getting back on her feet as the song ended.

Addressing the crowd after regaining her footing, she joked, “That was the government!” while gesturing toward the chair, drawing loud cheers from the audience.

The humour carried over to social media. After the video gained traction online, Cardi reposted it on X and quipped, “Can someone put a community note on this? This video is clearly AI.” Her response further fuelled the clip’s viral spread.

The Las Vegas concert followed the opening night of the Little Miss Drama Tour at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, earlier in the week.

That show also drew attention for the remarks Cardi made while interacting with fans.

During the performance, she did a playful impression of Selena to energise Latino members of the audience before addressing concerns about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

She told the crowd, “If ICE comes in here, we gon’ jump they asses. I’ve got some bear mace in the back! They ain’t taking my fans,” prompting strong applause.

Her comments were later addressed by the United States Department of Homeland Security on X.

The agency wrote, “As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior.”

Cardi responded directly on the platform, escalating the exchange.

She wrote, “If we talking about drugs, let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to rape them. Why y’all don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?” referring to renewed public discussion surrounding convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Despite the online back-and-forth, the Las Vegas fall became one of the night’s defining moments, a brief mishap that the rapper swiftly transformed into entertainment.
