Serena Williams is practicing three times a week and ‘looking great’ on the court again, training partner Alycia Parks has revealed in a major comeback hint.
Tennis icon Williams, who last played a professional match at the 2022 US Open, has been linked with a sensational return to the sport in recent months.
The 44-year-old suggested she is planning to do exactly that after registering to enter the drug-testing pool list in August, a move which sent fans into a frenzy online.
Despite playing it down, she was cleared by tennis’ drug-testing authority to return to competition last month, edging her a step closer to the return she insists is not happening.
Williams is also looking in phenomenal shape after dropping more than 30lbs by using weight loss drug Zepbound, a GLP-1 medication.
And amid speculation over her potential comeback, Parks has spilled the secrets of her recent practice sessions with the 23-time Grand Slam winner.

Williams is believed to be eyeing a sensational return to the sport at the age of 44 this year
After beginning her Miami Open campaign with a win over Sinja Kraus, Parks – who is good friends with Serena – said she recently linked up with her mentor.
The 25-year-old told the Tennis Channel: ‘I did text her when I was in the Middle East and I was like, “Hey, can you practice when I come back to the States?” and she was like, ‘Yeah, let’s go.’ So we got in a few sessions and yeah, she’s been helping me. When I’m home, I would say probably three times a week.’
‘She’s hitting good,’ she added about Williams. ‘Yeah, she’s definitely fit. She looks great and she’s hitting the ball amazing.’
However, Parks remained tight-lipped on the chances of seeing her on a professional court again.
‘I don’t know if she’s coming back, I don’t know when she’s coming back,’ the American stressed. ‘We just go to practice, we don’t really talk too much about her coming back. It’s just like fun stuff.’
Williams, who sparked backlash last summer when she revealed she had shed the pounds with the help of a weight loss medication, recently showed off her stunning figure in a busty green swimsuit.
In photos shared on Instagram, she flaunted her small waist and toned legs in the outfit and wrote as the caption: ‘I am not perfect….but I’m perfectly me.
‘Take out time today to celebrate being perfectly you!’

Last month she drew fierce criticism for promoting a weight-loss drug during the Super Bowl
Williams drew fierce criticism when she appeared in a commercial for a weight-loss drug during last month’s Super Bowl.
In the ad, she credited the GLP-1 provider Ro for her body transformation after admitting she turned to it post-retirement.
The sporting great was even seen injecting the drug in one commercial that aired in the first half of the game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, while another saw her mark an order on Ro’s mobile app and reveal that they are releasing a new version of the medication in pill form.
Williams also explained that she not only lost weight but has reduced knee joint stress, steadied her blood sugar levels and lowered her cholesterol.
One fan claimed on X that the sight of her ‘pushing weight loss drugs’ was ‘disgusting.’
Another person wrote that ‘we’re cooked’ because the ‘greatest tennis player of all time is on Ozempic.’
While one simply added: ‘What is going on?’
