The duo of Nigerian singers, Tems and Burna Boy have broken their tie with South African group, Seether, as the African artistes with the most Billboard US Hot 100 entries.

The trio were previously tied at seven entries each, but Burna Boy and Tems earned new entries on the chart this week through their features on J.Cole’s album, ‘The Fall-Off.’

‘Bounce Road Blues’ featuring Tems and Future debuted at 34, while ‘Only You’ with Burna Boy debuted at 78, bringing the Nigerians’ total to a joint 8 -the most by any African.

Tems has now earned three Billboard Hot 100 entries this year with ‘Raindance’ with Dave, ‘What You Need’ and the latest ‘Bounce Road Blues.’

She has the most entries for any African artiste this year, so far.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy has become the first African artiste to have a song on the Billboard Hot 100 for 6 consecutive years.

His entries over the years include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
