Following Fameye’s recent stage performance, during which he accidentally tripped and injured his ankle, some netizens took to social media to label the artiste a drug abuser.

In response to the numerous criticisms online, the Hiplife musician has taken to Facebook to express his disappointment and frustration with such comments.

In a post sighted by GhanaWeb on January 4, 2025, Fameye shared how he entered the entertainment industry as a timid person.

According to the musician, his sudden change in character and energy during performances is purely artistic, explaining that it was necessary to overcome his naturally-timid behaviour.

Fameye further debunked allegations by some netizens that he uses drugs, adding that those making such claims are free to take drugs themselves if they deem it fit.

“Fameye came into the game very timid; people complained. Peter came to my rescue with the energy and never folds. They say it’s drugs, take the drugs yourself, and see if you will be that blessed. 2026 yenko,” he wrote.
