Legendary Ghanaian sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah has renewed his marriage vows with his wife after 35 years, marking a new milestone in their journey together.

In a ceremony held behind closed doors, the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) President was given a ring to place on his wife’s finger, which he did joyfully, and with a smile.

While putting the ring on his wife’s finger, he was heard saying:

“With this ring, I renew my vow and the covenant before God, and I pledge that by the grace of God, this marriage is forever. Amen!”

Afterwards, his wife also performed the same rite to affirm the renewal of their marriage.

Kwabena Yeboah, publisher and editor of Africa Sports Newspaper, is highly experienced and popular both locally and internationally, known as a team player and motivator.

He is the presenter of the widely watched Sports Highlights show on GTV every Monday and made a strong impression at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil as one of the commentators of the tournament.

Even before the SWAG secretariat announces the modalities and date for its next elections, some members have already declared their interests in having him as their choice for the presidential position.
