End of the first quarter

We’re through one down in New Orleans and the score is still 7-0 in favor of the birds.

On 2nd and 6, Hurt is under pressure and is sacked. But flags fly and Omenihu is called for offside.

The quarter ends on Hurts taking a loss of about three.

NFL fans slam the ‘worst scorebug of all time’

As Harrison Butker completed the kickoff to begin Super Bowl 2025, NFL fans slammed the Fox scorebug that presented the teams in block letters and very little connecting it.

The Super Bowl is the first time for this scorebug design with fans quickly coming together from both the Chiefs and Eagles fan bases, as well as other teams, to bash the presentation.

Chiefs can’t stop the Tush Push

They may not be in the City of Brotherly Love but the Brotherly Shove passes the test for Philly down in the Big Easy.

As Jason Kelce says, it works 92 percent of the time!

TOUCHDOWN! Chiefs 0-7 Eagles

The Eagles thought they had scored the opening touchdown of Super Bowl LIX when Hurts threw a high arching pass towards the endzone into the waiting arms of Dotson.

He was originally ruled in, but Philly’s hopes were swiftly dashed when they had him down at the one.

It’s first and goal and it’s the Tush Push to the rescue. Hurts is in and the Eagles strike first in the Big Easy!

NFL fans call out referees for ‘makeup call’ for Philadelphia

Just minutes after the controversial call in their favor, one goes against the Chiefs.

McDuffie is called for unnecessary roughness. However, it is yet another questionable call.

NFL fans don’t seem to mind too much, though, as many brand it a ‘makeup call.’

That will silence the conspiracy theorists… for now.

Taylor Swift booed by NFL fans

We’ve just had the first sighting of Taylor Swift on the big screen inside the dome, and let’s just say the pop star didn’t receive the kindest welcome.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner, here to support boyfriend Travis Kelce, was met with an almighty boo.

However, the songstress laughed off the reaction before giving a slight side-eye.

NFL fans left furious over controversial Chiefs penalty call early in Super Bowl 2025 against Eagles

We’re still only on the first drive of the game, yet the ‘rigged’ conspiracies have already begun.

Philadelphia got the ball first, but were faced with a 4th and 2 from the 50 yard line.

Rather than try to just gain the two yards, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts decided to air out a long pass for receiver AJ Brown – who caught it in stride then stepped out of bounds.

However, referees threw a flag and decided to call pass interference on Brown for his contact with defender Trent McDuffie.

Chiefs halt Eagles

Steve Spagnuolo’s defense is off to a riotous start.

First, Barkley is wrapped up for a loss, and that means it’s 3rd & 11.

Then Hurts is on the run, sprinting to his right towards the far sideline. It;s a good run but it’s not enough – he’s short by two yards.

And we’re underway!

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles will get Super Bowl LIX underway after receiving the ball.

They start at the 30 after a touch back.

Chiefs win the coin toss

The Kansas City Chiefs called tails, and tails it is!

Patrick Mahomes, with his co-captains alongside him, has opted to defer.

NFL fans fume over national anthem performance

Jon Batiste performed a soulful rendition of the national anthem ahead of the Super Bowl.

The singer put his own twist on the Star Spangled Banner, notably repeating the lyrics, ‘The land of the free,’ twice.

However, NFL fans were not impressed with his individualism with some slamming the ‘remix.’

Chiefs star cries at national anthem

Chris Jones is known for his emotional moments during the national anthems and on one of the biggest nights of his career he let the tears flow once again.

Introduced by Chiefs superfan Jon Hamm, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and co. have taken to the field to face off against the Eagles.

However, if you wanted any indication of the split between Eagles and Chiefs fans inside Caesars Superdome, that entrance was all you needed.

The Chiefs made their entrance first as the designated road team, with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce out front, and were booed quickly.

Fans entering the venue appeared to be wearing more green than red, leading to a pro-Eagles crowd for this Super Bowl.

Ahead of his brother’s appearance in Super Bowl LIX – as well as the appearance of his former team – Jason Kelce has arrived at the Caesars Superdome.

Tom Brady ruthlessly mocked by NFL fans

Tom Brady starred in a pre-game segment for Fox, honoring the victims of the New orleans terror attacks.

While Brady’s shirt was a clear nod to the devastation the LA wildfires left behind, the NFL legend was mocked for his appearance.

Jason and Kylie Kelce have been spotted inside Caesars Superdome but who they’re rooting for remains unclear…

Jason has said that he wants to see his brother play well on Sunday but ultimately he will be cheering for the Eagles to win, along with his wife .
