Marjorie Taylor Greene and her new fiancé spent Christmas all loved up in Costa Rica, the Daily Mail can reveal.

The congresswoman appeared de-mob happy as she prepares to step down in the new year, strolling hand-in-hand with Brian Glenn along the beach on Christmas Day.

The pair began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement last week, about a month after Green surprised the nation by quitting Congress following a bitter tirade about her former ally President Trump.

Her last day is set for January 5, 2026, which some critics believe was a cynical move to align with the five-year service requirement to secure her $9,000 a year congressional pension.

Greene was sworn in on January 3, 2021 meaning she will have held the position for five years and three days by the time she steps down.

It appears her last few weeks in office on the taxpayer-funded congressional payroll have been spent taking advantage of federal holidays and the House’s annual winter break.

The couple started their morning buying groceries at a local market before heading to the sand for their romantic stroll.

The pair were later joined in Costa Rica by Greene’s children and their partners, the Mail has learned.

Greene’s resignation followed a public falling-out with President Donald Trump in recent months, as the congresswoman criticized him for his stance on files related to Jeffrey Epstein, along with foreign policy and health care.

First elected to represent a deeply conservative seat in northwest Georgia in 2020, she spent her first few terms closely tied to the MAGA movement.

She has since branded Trump’s second term agenda as a betrayal of his voters.

Throughout the holidays, Greene has remained a vocal critic of the president and accused him of abandoning his America First pledge.

On Saturday, she rushed to the defense of conservative commentator Tucker Carlson after he was met with a backlash by far right personalities over his claim that he has not seen anyone die as a result of radical Islam in recent years.

‘He is a man of sincere faith, loves his family, and our country,’ Greene wrote on X, after directly calling out social media that had allegedly attacked him.

‘America First is winning,’ she added.

The tweet followed a series of posts wishing her base a Merry Christmas and sharing Bible versus telling the story of the birth of Jesus Christ – which she hailed as the ‘greatest gift to mankind’.

Ahead of the holiday, she blasted Trump for calling her a ‘traitor’ for demanding he release the Epstein files.

She also commented on the race to replace her, telling her followers that she intends to ‘stay out of the race to replace me, but I won’t stay silent if candidates make the race about me.’

The remark was made in response to Greene reportedly hearing a potential Republican decry ‘I’m not going to be like MTG.’

‘Run on your own merits, your own record, your own platform, and how YOU will REPRESENT the good people of Georgia’s 14th district,’ she tweeted.

‘Don’t throw rocks at me from your self righteous naive judgmental position. Earn the people’s vote by standing on your own two feet. Man up!’

Glenn, a White House reporter, announced his engagement to Greene last week in a social media post.

He shared a photo of the two of them at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in Washington DC, with the caption: ‘She said “yes”.’

The 51-year-old Georgia Republican was shown sporting a large engagement ring that she helped design.

‘I called ahead to make sure I had our usual table in the back that has a curtain,’ he told the Daily Mail at the time, via text message.

‘After the waiter delivered the drinks to our table, I proposed to her via a surprise. And she said yes. We are both overjoyed and have shared the news with our families.

‘I’m sweeping her off her feet, getting her out of Washington,’ he added.

The pair reportedly fell in love over their shared support for Trump.

Glenn still supports the president but will split his time between Washington and Georgia to be with the retiring congresswoman.

He will continue to report for the conservative Real America’s Voice, but from a home studio when he’s in Georgia, and from the White House when he’s in DC.

He will also cover Trump on the road as he campaigns for Republicans in next year’s midterms.

Glenn originally saw Greene in 2022 at a Trump rally, with the reporter telling the Washington Post that Greene was ‘like, mystical – like a unicorn or something like that, you know?’.

She was already a well-known member of Congress by this point, having been elected as a die-hard Trump fan in 2020, taking office in January 2021.

They met at an event later in 2022 and started publicly dating in 2023 after they both filed for divorce from their respective spouses.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Taylor Greene for comment.
