Ghanaian actress and media personality Victoria Lebene has shared her thoughts on the concept of submissiveness in marriage.

Speaking in an interview on MX24 TV on October 10, 2025, Victoria said she believes submissiveness is the key to maintaining peace in the home.

When asked whether she ever struggled with the idea of being submissive or felt limited in expressing her opinions within her marriage, she explained that she views submissiveness as a path to fostering understanding between partners.

I think people are not happy that I’m an upgraded woman – Victoria Lebene

“I won’t say I struggled with that because submissiveness, to me, is the gear towards peace. Creating a very peaceful environment, and if you say you love someone and want to settle with the person, you need to know that you’re coming into amicable terms to make a home,” she said.

Victoria further stated that women play a crucial role in maintaining balance in marriage.

“Automatically, as a woman, you need to be able to humble yourself and let the man handle the home. What you add is your peaceful, dignified demeanor, your womanly ability, to complement what he has to offer and make the home beautiful,” she added.
