The glamorous Ole Miss fan who went viral on Sunday night has shared some of the creepy DMs she has received in the aftermath of her TV moment.
Rebels supporter Sara Smith, an Ole Miss alum from Knoxville, grabbed the attention of ESPN’s cameraperson, who then lingered on her during a tense moment in the team’s win over Louisville.
The image quickly spread across social media and there were even accusations that the ESPN camera operator purposely zoomed in on her, although that was later confirmed to be false.
Smith’s Instagram account was later changed to private but on Monday night she posted a TikTok showing some of the messages she’d had from desperate fans.
She wrote ‘let’s go through my favorite DMs over the last 24 hours’ and captioned the video ‘Yes that was me.’
Smith blocked the usernames of all the senders, but one of the DMs simply said: ‘Let’s make’ alongside an emoji showing a baby.

Another asked: ‘Hey Sara I wanna buy you a bag from Paris, what’s your favorite brand?’
One particularly creepy one claimed they had to check the comments ‘to realize that you weren’t AI generated’ and ‘an actual living, breathing, human being.’ They also described her as ‘an absolute goddess.’
A fourth asked Smith: ‘How aren’t you a model for Louis Vuitton, Gucci etc?’
They continued: ‘You should literally be their main model as you’re soo beautiful and pretty. I really hope you get to be a really famous model one day.’
Another seemingly invited her on a trip to Miami while a male fan laid out his dating credentials, writing: ‘God fearing. 6’1, 260. Business owner. $500k take home annual.’
During the third quarter, when the Rebels led the Cardinals by just two points, the camera panned to Smith sitting in the stands in Nashville on Sunday night.
She had a worried look on her face, gripping her phone tightly as she raised her arms, her hands resting on her head.
It was no surprise she looked stressed given Lucas Carneiro kicked a 48-yard field goal as time expired to give her beloved Ole Miss a 41-38 victory over No. 24 Louisville.
