MzGee has encouraged women dealing with infertility to shift their focus toward faith and a positive mindset, even while enduring the medical and social pressures that often come with the journey.

At the Stronger Together Women’s Health Conference, the media personality shared her own struggles before the birth of her son in January 2025. She spoke openly about the pain of miscarriage, a failed pregnancy, and long months on ovulation medication, saying those experiences tested her resolve.

Although medical reports mattered, she emphasized that perspective was just as important. “I used to ask myself, what are you saying to yourself? What are you doing?” she recalled, explaining how prayer, music, and affirmations sustained her when the outlook seemed grim.

Earlier this year on her Gee O’Clock show, MzGee also revealed the personal trials she endured outside of motherhood, including divorce and unrelenting societal scrutiny. She noted that some of the most hurtful questions came from other women.

“At every turn, it was women asking, ‘When will you marry again? When will you have a child? What are you waiting for?’ The pressure was constant, and most of the time, it wasn’t from men but from women,” she said.

MzGee, who confirmed in February 2025 that she had been separated for three years and legally divorced for two, said these experiences showed how harsh society can be toward women facing personal battles.

She urged her audience to break that pattern. “Instead of tearing each other down, let’s learn to give people breathing space. You don’t know the battles someone is fighting. Show love, not pressure,” she said.
