Pastor Nike Adeyemi has cautioned women against making their husbands feel inadequate by comparing them to their pastors.

In a post on social media, the wife of Pastor Sam Adeyemi of the Daystar Christian Centre, urged wives to honour and respect their husbands instead of elevating their pastors to an unrealistic pedestal.

“Do not intimidate your husband with how spiritual your pastor is. Honour your husband. Don’t worship your pastor,” she advised.

In a separate video shared online, she encouraged women not to overly celebrate their pastors in front of their husbands, particularly male pastors.

“Stop celebrating your pastors in front of your husband, especially the male pastors. They will be saying, ‘Can your pastor ever?’ Stop it! Your pastors are not perfect. We are not perfect. It is God who helps us. Also, when you do that, your husband might not tell you, but he will want to say, ‘God and marry your pastor,” she stated.
