Roman Fada, manager of the late Ghanaian Highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has condemned the wave of online trolls and ‘baseless’ rumours targeting the musician’s family following his passing.

Following Lumba’s recent passing, some netizens have taken to social media to spread numerous accusations and insults, targeting his personality and fueling tension between his wives through comparisons over who is more legitimate.

But reacting to the numerous opinions, threats and insults online, Roman Fada, in a discussion on GH Page TV shared on YouTube on September 11, 2025, noted that individuals causing tension in the family should refrain from that.

“Whatever is happening on TikTok is causing a serious problem in the family. There was a particular video I saw where one man was referring to Lumba as a dog that can’t be with one woman. He may think that he is fighting for one of the wives, but that is a total insult to both of them,” he said.

He added, “Also, those on TikTok saying Odo Broni’s children are not for Lumba and therefore a DNA test must be conducted should stop because it is hurtful. How will they feel if such a thing is done to their sisters?” he added.

Meanwhile, the late Lumba’s younger sister, Faustina Fosu, has also issued a stern warning to netizens, urging them to stop hurling unwarranted insults over the musician’s decision to marry two women.

According to her, the family fully supports all the decisions Lumba made during his lifetime, and the name-calling must come to an end.
