Event host and MC, Ogee the MC has explained why Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy didn’t attend Sarkodie’s Rapperholic concert held in Kumasi.
Speaking in an interview on Max TV on October 9, 2025, Ogee disclosed that Stonebwoy’s absence was not due to any misunderstanding or tension between the two artistes.
According to Ogee, there was rather a clash in schedules as the musician had to travel to London for another engagement.
“I feel like there’s a whole misunderstanding or an agenda on social media and it makes people forget that there’s a healthy relationship between us and them. Stonebwoy wasn’t present at Rapperholic because it clashed with the date he’s supposed to be in London.
“He left Ghana a day before the show. I believe if Stonebowy was in town, he would been at the show because he loves people in Kumasi a lot to disappoint them like that” he said.

Ogee further explained that he has been closely connected to the Rapperholic brand for years and maintains a good relationship with both camps.
“People might not know I hosted Rapperholic for like five times back in the days, I was the host. I hosted back to back in the consecutive years” he stated.
He continued, “We are still friends till now but it’s just unfortunate that on social media when people don’t see you taking a picture with someone, they will assume they are not in good terms.”
Ogee also made it clear that there’s no tension between Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, emphasizing that the two maintain a healthy relationship.
“Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have a healthy relationship so I don’t even know where the agenda is coming from” he added.
