Stonebwoy has finally broken his silence on the controversy surrounding the GH¢5,000 gift his recent ‘associate’, MC Portfolio, accepted from his archrival Shatta Wale on live TV recently.
The incident sparked heated debates, with many questioning MC Portfolio’s loyalty to Stonebwoy.
Initially, Stonebwoy’s quiet stance on the matter led many to believe he would distance himself from Portfolio, as he has done in past conflicts within his camp.
In his first reaction to the whole drama, Stonebwoy rather directed his ire at Shatta Wale, accusing him of using the money as a manipulative tactic to sow discord.
Speaking to Angel FM’s Ike De Unpredictable, Stonebwoy labeled Shatta Wale a “trickster” and accused him of setting Portfolio up with the cash gift.
“Don’t you know the tricks of this man? This trickster? This settings man? He set him up with GH¢5,000. He’s keeping tons of five cedi notes in his room, so he thinks he has money,” Stonebwoy fumed.
He went on to emphasize his financial capacity, stating, “How much is GH¢5,000? By God’s grace, I have more than GH¢5,000 to offer.”
