Ghanaian musicians Stonebwoy and Cina Soul have become the focus of a heated online conversation following the release of a behind-the-scenes video from a music video shoot.
The video, shared by Cina Soul on June 24, 2025, captures an intimate moment between the two artistes on the set of the upcoming video for her song “Larger Than Life,” from her ‘Did I Lie’ album.
In the clip, Stonebwoy and Cina Soul are seen dancing closely, with one scene showing Cina turning her back to Stonebwoy as he appears to “grind” behind her.
The video showed the two artistes dancing, with Cina Soul at one point turning her back to Stonebwoy, whining her butt and waist.
Initially, reactions to the post were light-hearted and positive, with fans expressing excitement about the collaboration and praising the chemistry between the two musicians.
However, the tone of the conversation changed on June 25, 2025, with some users criticising the interaction, particularly because Stonebwoy is a married man with children.
Netizens have argued that Stonebwoy should have exercised discretion during the shoot, considering his marital status.
“Personally, I don’t like it. Because married man deɛ why you go do so?” one user, Nii Commey, posted.
Others directed their frustration at Cina Soul, stating that she should have been mindful of Stonebwoy’s status.
“She should have known better,” one comment read.
Not everyone sees the video as controversial. A part of social media users have come to the defence of both artistes, insisting that the moment was part of a creative process and should be understood within the context of showbiz.
“His wife understands the showbiz work,” one user with the handle @KwakuKin wrote.
Another user shared a personal take, saying the video affirmed their decision to avoid dating celebrities.
“Tbh this is why I will never be with someone who’s a celebrity or popular because even though it’s showbiz my heart will be doing bukumbukumbukum,” she wrote.
