Many Ghanaians on social media have suggested that the Black Stars maintain the yellow kits as their primary kit for games.

They argue that the yellow kits worn in the last two games of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers resonate with the Ghanaian spirit and bring the team some positive luck.

The assertion follows Ghana’s 3-0 win over Madagascar on Monday, March 24 at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium.

Some users on X (formerly Twitter) lauded the players for their performance, while others singled out certain players as outstanding performers.

Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey received enormous praise for playing key roles in the win. Ayew assisted all three goals while Partey netted a brace.

Some fans linked the win to former players Asamoah Gyan and Stephen Appiah, highlighting their positive impact after getting closer to the current squad.

The victory over Madagascar sends the Black Stars to the top of Group I with 15 points, sitting five points above second-place Madagascar with four matches remaining in the World Cup qualifiers.
