    Ghanaian gospel trio, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, has left an indelible mark on the gospel music scene, blessing fans with numerous timeless hits over the years.

    With a career spanning over three decades, the group began their musical journey in the church, as members of the choir at Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries.

    In 1990, they released their debut album titled “Anwanwa Din.”

    Between 1990 and 1996, the trio produced several gospel hits, including “Mebo Yesu Din Daa”, a song that earned them the Entertainment and Critics Association of Ghana Award for Best Gospel Group in 1992. They also released “Asomdwe Hene” and “Ngyae Mpae Bo Da,” among others.

    Wo Ntaban

    In 2003, Daughters of Glorious Jesus released one of their most popular songs, “Wo Ntaban.”

    Featured on their Aseda album, the song went on to win five awards at the 2004 Ghana Music Awards, solidifying its impact in the gospel music scene.

    “Wo Ntaban” speaks about divine protection, calling on God to shield them from the harm of the devil. The song also emphasizes devotion and the trio’s unwavering commitment to serving God.

    Aseda Ben

    Daughters of Glorious Jesus’ “Aseda Ben” remains one of the most popular and widely played gospel songs in Ghanaian households.

    The song which was featured on their “Mesom Awurade Daa” album was released in 1994.

    In “Aseda Ben,” the group expressed deep gratitude to God, reflecting on the protection and blessings they have received throughout their journey.

    Mebo Wo Din Daa

    “Mebo Wo Din Daa” is another widely played song that features prominently at almost every Ghanaian ceremony.

    The song speaks of the groups’ unwavering commitment to praising God at every opportunity, celebrating his greatness and the wonders of his works.

    Onokwafo Nyame

    “Onokwafo Nyame” is featured on Daughters of Glorious Jesus’ “Nea Yehu Yi” album, released in 2000.

    The song expressed the group’s deep passion for worship and devotion to God.

    It also highlighted how the schemes of the devil failed to manifest in their lives, showcasing God’s protection and faithfulness.

    As of now, the song has garnered over 476,000 views on YouTube.

    Fa W’asem To Awurade Anim

    “Fa W’asem To Awurade Anim” is another timeless hit from the gospel trio.

    Released in the early 2000s, the song remains a staple in many Ghanaian households today.

    The song seeks to encourage Christians to place their burdens before God, especially in times of trouble.

    Its powerful message of faith and comfort has also made it a popular choice at funeral ceremonies, often played as a way to sympathise with bereaved families.

    Since being uploaded to YouTube in 2020, “Fa W’asem To Awurade Anim” has garnered over 536,000 views.
