At the ceremony, Sparqlyn won the African Cultural Leadership & Music Excellence Award, African Legacy Icon Award, and Pan-African Creative & Social Impact Award.

Sparqlyn’s triple victory comes after he was nominated in the three categories alongside other personalities who gave him strong competition to take home all three honours.

Aside from the three plaques presented to him for his wins, the organizers also presented Sparqlyn with a special citation and a cash prize in recognition of his achievements and contributions.

Interestingly, the recognition comes at a time when his latest single, “Rosina,” featuring Ghanaian Germany-based musician, video director and sound engineer TEENO, is also gaining strong attention.

The song has been receiving airplay and generating conversations on social media and is gradually making its way to becoming one of the biggest songs in 2026

The latest recognition further adds to what has already been a highly successful period in Sparqlyn’s career.

In 2025, he received six major honours, including African Best Ghanaian Musician of the Year at the African Performance Leadership Awards in Lagos.

He was also honoured at the Stars Awards for his contribution to Ghana and African music and culture, named Africa Artiste of the Decade and presented with a Youth Development Honour.
