Ghanaian musician Belinda Akua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has raised doubts about the genuineness of gospel musician Sonnie Badu.
In a video shared on social media, Mzbel established that the gospel musician is not a true man of God, claiming that his primary focus is money rather than winning souls for Christ.
She emphasised that Sonnie Badu is a liar and that all he does is deceive Christians.
Backing her claims, Mzbel said, “Sonnie Badu preached at an event one day, and he was given an honorarium. He took a picture of it and sent it to me, asking me to show it to Shatta Wale.
“He asked me to tell Shatta Wale that he is not the only musician who has money in the country. He is not a man of God; what you see are shows. He is a showman, and it’s all about the money for him,” she said.
The statement from the “16 Years” hitmaker has since received mixed reactions on social media.
While some netizens are condemning her for tarnishing the image of Sonnie Badu, others have supported her claim.
