Ghanaian Gospel musician and pastor, Sonnie Badu, has explained why it is a big deal for partners to share social media content.

He talked about the crucial role such content plays in relationships in this era.

Badu made this statement when sharing the importance of communication in friendships and relationships in an Instagram video.

He said for a relationship to be successful, those involved should find means of communicating consistently, either through talking, texting or sharing content.

“Relationships and friendships are always built on communication. You gotta communicate every day. If you’re not talking, you’re texting. If you’re not texting, you have to find a way to communicate that greases the relationship,” he expressed.

The ‘Baba’ singer asserted that if someone’s partner has not been sharing social media content with them, then there’s a probability that they are sharing with others.

“If your wife, husband, boyfriend, or girlfriend is not sharing at least five or six jokes with you on WhatsApp or from social media, please understand that they’re sharing it with somebody else.

“It is the new era we’re in, and it demands that you see what’s happening and you share it. If you’re not getting any jokes from your partner, your friend, your spouse, then there’s somebody they’re sharing it with, and it’s definitely not you. So start looking out for that,” Sonnie Badu stated.
