Well-known Ghanaian music promoter and CEO of Sleeky Promotions, Sadiq Assah, popularly known as Sleeky, has publicly congratulated multiple award-winning musician Kofi Kinaata following the successful 2025 edition of the Made In Taadi Concert, despite their known past differences.

Taking to his Facebook page, Sleeky praised Kinaata for what he described as a historic achievement for the Western Region entertainment industry.

In his post, Sleeky wrote that it took just one man to revive a dead sports club and added that the success of the concert has reopened doors for promoters to once again stage major events in the region.

According to Sleeky, the Made In Taadi Concert has now cleared the path for promoters to return to the grounds, a development he admitted would also benefit him as an events promoter. He further described the show as a pure Western Region festival.

Despite the efforts to make this post about just the peace and nothing else, the comment section became heated when another artiste attempted to accuse Sleeky of hypocrisy, suggesting that he hated Kofi Kinaata and questioning why he would publicly celebrate his success.

The comment sparked a chain of reactions from other artistes and followers. In response, Sleeky firmly defended himself, stating categorically that he has never hated Kofi Kinaata.

Sleeky expressed surprise that such accusations were coming from artistes he had supported in the past. He explained that he personally fought for several underground artistes to get opportunities and features from Kinaata, mentioning names such as Aya, Bobo Dada Bee, Qwesi Ghana, Tray Zee, among others.

Sleeky lamented that while he was once celebrated as an angel for advocating on their behalf, he later became painted as a devil after those artistes got the exposure they wanted. He stressed that he does not sing and therefore does not need any favours from Kinaata, adding that his actions were purely driven by a desire to see talents from the Western Region grow.
