Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has made it clear that she will not sit quietly when she feels disrespected or attacked, warning that she is willing to respond with the same intensity when pushed.
Speaking in an interview on Pulse One on One, the outspoken singer reflected on conflicts within the entertainment industry and how she handles situations when disagreements between artistes become public.
Sista Afia, who described herself as a Scorpio, said she does not take kindly to people speaking negatively about her or disrespecting her name.

According to the musician, she believes in matching the energy of anyone who deliberately starts a confrontation with her.
She explained that she has no problem responding to someone who comes at her, regardless of how far the person is prepared to take the confrontation.
“I think that I would give it to you if you give it back. If you don’t start what you can’t finish, that’s with me. I don’t care how deep you can go. I can go as low as you want,” she stated.
Her comments come amid the frequent disagreements and rivalries that occasionally emerge within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Over the years, disputes between musicians have often moved beyond private disagreements, with artistes exchanging words through interviews, social media posts and other public platforms.
Sista Afia’s comments suggest that while she may not necessarily seek confrontation, she is prepared to defend herself when she believes another person has crossed the line.
The musician was also asked whether she had ever regretted the manner in which she handled any of her previous confrontations.
However, Sista Afia dismissed the suggestion that she should feel remorse for standing up for herself.
She argued that she sees no reason to regret responding to someone who initiated an attack against her, maintaining that she considers her reactions part of defending herself.
