Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu expressed his admiration for Yemi Alade’s traditional African attire at the Grammy Awards, referring to her as a “queen.”

At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, Yemi Alade, also known as Mama Africa, was nominated alongside other Nigerian artists for Best African Music Performance.

Wearing a red outfit and regal jewelry around her neck and head, the 35-year-old singer brought African royalty to the award event. She looked like a monarch from Edo State, the South-South region in Nigeria.

With heartfelt sincerity, Chiwetalu Agu lavished praise on Yemi Alade’s breathtaking African ensemble, proclaiming that she captured his heart even though she didn’t win the award.

He commended her for representing the African culture.

Yemi Alade responded, “I’m not gonna lie… someone is cutting one full bag of onions ❤️ God bless you sir❤️❤️❤️ #flowersreceived”.
