Former Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Kamoko
Former Ghanaian boxer, Braimah Kamoko, has stated that insults on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and himself led to fisticuffs with a woman at Bukom.
Bukom Banku, as he is commonly known, explained that the woman he fought in the video has made it a norm to insult NDC members during their campaign floats.
He revealed that the woman in question is his ex-girlfriend and thus clarified that he did not touch her during the brawl, which he claimed was recorded to tarnish his image.
“Ghanaians, have you seen that post about me? The person who posted it thinks he wanted to tarnish my image, but it didn’t work. Ghanaians have witnessed that I didn’t throw my hands. I respect myself in this country, and people love me, so I didn’t throw my hands. Every time members of the NDC pass by, she insults them. Every day, she insults me. Do you know why? She’s my former girlfriend,” he narrated in a video shared on his TikTok page.
He further claimed that the ex-girlfriend, out of jealousy, often insulted him because he left her.
“Because I left her, she’s jealous, and every day, she insults me whenever she sees me passing.
While detailing the fight, the former WBO Africa Light Heavyweight champion indicated that his ex-girlfriend started it by pouring pepper on him.
“She sells kenkey and fish, so I went there to ask her why she had been insulting me, and she poured pepper on my face.”
“So, I held her clothes, and she started beating me. Her siblings also came from behind and started beating me, and then her husband gave me a blow to the face. So, Ghanaians, have you seen now that Bukom Banku didn’t throw any punches? I controlled my temper,” Bukom Banku explained in Ga.
