One of the biggest nights in music history in 2025 almost came to a halt after some monitors used by the technical team allegedly went missing during the event.

ShattaFest 2025, a concert organised as a way for Ghanaian Dancehall star Shatta Wale to celebrate his 41st birthday with his fans, was held at Independence Square in Accra on October 18, 2025.

The venue was packed to the brim with fans and well-wishers who came in their numbers to show their love and support for their favourite artiste.

However, in the middle of the night, while fans were waiting expectantly, the lights on some parts of the stage went off.

An event organiser was then heard explaining to the crowd that some monitors being used to help with the show had gone missing. He was later heard pleading with those responsible to return them.

“Please, we need our monitors back else the show will not be able to go on. Please… bring the monitors back. Please,” he said.

While it is unclear how the monitors went missing, the show eventually resumed, much to the delight of the multitude of fans gathered at the venue.

The event was graced by various celebrities, including D-Black, Wendy Shay, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Samini, Kelvynboy, and many more.

Shatta Wale eventually came on stage, treating fans to his greatest hits and providing an experience like no other till the wee hours of the morning.
