Two of Shatta Wale’s albums, ‘Reign’ and ‘Wonderboy’, which were pulled down from Apple Music, have now been restored to the streaming platform.

The albums had earlier been taken down after a heated row between the Dancehall artiste and producer MOG Beatz, who accused Shatta Wale of selling his music catalogue while stripping him of credit for songs he worked on.

But recent checks on September 14, 2025, confirmed that both albums are now back on Apple Music, this time with MOG Beatz credited as an “arranger” on the projects.

On August 19, 2025, MOG Beatz announced on X that he had taken down Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ and ‘Wonderboy’ albums over unresolved disputes regarding production credit and royalty payments.

“You sell my beats, erase my credit, then buy luxury cars,” he wrote in a post directed at the musician.

According to the producer, Shatta Wale had wrongfully taken production credit for songs created by him and other producers.

Why MOG Beatz has legal grounds against Shatta Wale without prior signed contract agreement

MOG alleged that this was done to secure money from an international company without their knowledge or approval. He warned that the removal of the albums was only the start of bigger actions he planned to take.

“Two albums have already been taken down, and more are coming down soon. Sell your assets and refund the company you scammed. Leasing your catalogue just to survive? That’s the path you chose. This time, the talk will come with action,” he added.

MOG Beatz, who contributed to songs on Shatta Wale’s Reign album including; ‘Gringo’, ‘Bend Over’, ‘If I See’, and ‘Squeeze’, insisted that despite his work, he had been denied the credit and financial benefits he deserved.

With both albums now restored on streaming platforms and MOG Beatz properly credited for his contributions, there are rumours that a behind-the-scenes settlement may have been reached between the parties.

Unlike his earlier public outburst on social media, the producer has remained silent and has not yet issued any statement regarding the recent development.
