Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has responded affectionately on Facebook to gospel artiste Perez Musik’s recent comments suggesting Wale could draw thousands to Christ if he switched to gospel music.
Perez Musik had made the comments in an interview on Hitz FM, where he reacted to the dancehall artiste’s recent ShattaFest concert, which saw thousands troop to an already filled Independence Square.
In his reply, Shatta Wale, stated, “Oh, my blood brother Perez, it is the same gospel I am preaching ooo. Same as what you’re doing, but mine is not for one religion but for God’s people,” he said.
He went on to explain that his music was targeted at ‘God’s people’, whom he described as “Every Living and Non-Living thing and so we are God’s people/Children/Angels🫶ETC..”
