Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has lauded dancehall artiste Shatta Wale for an extraordinary act of generosity in the music industry.
In a social media post, Shay revealed that Shatta Wale had voluntarily handed over all his mechanical rights for their collaborations, ‘Stevie Wonder’ and ‘H.I.T.’, to her label.
“I witnessed something yesterday and I still cannot believe it. @shattawalegh gave all his Mechanical Rights on my songs Stevie Wonder and H.I.T. to Rufftown Records,” Wendy Shay wrote. “I don’t know how many people can show such kindness in this industry. A king for a reason. More blessings King. #SM4LIFE.”

Her words have since triggered admiration among fans, many of whom praised Shatta Wale for his support of fellow artistes and his willingness to put collaboration above profit.
