Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has sparked outrage online after calling on US President Donald Trump to ban Ghanaians from entering the United States.

In a live video shared online, Shatta Wale, who has come under heavy criticism, with some netizens even calling for his arrest following the recent FBI raid in Ghana, lashed out at Ghanaians, saying, “Stupid people in this country. If anybody knows Donald Trump’s account, tag him for me.”

According to the “On God” hitmaker, Ghanaians are the most envious and unsupportive people, constantly seeking the downfall of others.

“They are the most stupid people in the world. Ghana has won the most foolish country award. It’s the only country where people wish for others to fail,” he further ranted.

The development has since drawn massive criticism, with many labelling his utterances as offensive and unpatriotic.

Shatta Wale, who has been widely speculated to be involved in fraud dismissed the allegations, stating that he isn’t afraid of any backlash because he lives a clean life and minds his own business.
